 Velocity of registration of damage The registration of the claim is significantly mitigated, since some routine activities are dropped out, which take significant time. These are the activities related to the writing of a label over the inspection letterhead and, for example, the entry of the data about the damage registered “Logbook of Damage Registered” in MS Excel Table. It is also possible that the entry of claims data into the different operational systems working in the Company will be dropped out as well. This may be implemented with the realization of exchange of data between SmartClaiMS and the corporate ERP system. The drop out of these activities significantly accelerates the claim registration process and in this manner allows for servicing the clients in the peak moments of loading smoothly and without the accumulation of big queues.

 Avoidance of errors in registration of claim. When the same data are entered into more places – the probability for making an error during entry is very big. With the reduction of the number of places for entry of data, SmartClaiMS renders assistance to the reduction of the risk of errors. Further to that where possible, the data are entered through selection from established lists, in this manner the risk of making a spelling error being equal to zero.

 Velocity of introduction of damages. The entry of data relating to the damage is considerably accelerated through the use of the module for mobile introduction through PDA device. The experts who conduct the inspections enter the data through convenient menus into the PDA device and do it significantly faster than they would do it if they described them “by hand”.

 Electronic entry of data in conformity with the damages. The damages data are entered into the database in an electronic kind. This allows for the prompt processing and analyzing of the data and the preparation of calculations, immediately after the entry of the damage into the system. In this manner the data from all over the country are collected in the central server within real time.

 Unification of the terminology used for description of the damages. The descriptions of the damage will be entered through a selection of items from preliminarily established lists of parts. These lists contain the groups and names of the spare parts and may be edited at an administrative level. In this manner unification of the terminology used during the preparation of the lists throughout the country and in all agencies of the Company will be provided for.

 Velocity of preparation of the calculations. Smart ClaiMS System is equipped with a module, which allows for automated calculation of the damage. The system works in a direct regime with the electronic catalogue MultiCat, as well as with the server for local price lists MultiPrice. This allows for the automatic analysis of the damage, finding out the authentic OE numbers of their spare parts, their local market prices, the plant norm-times for disassembly and assembly, expert norm-times for repairs and painting and other values related to the estimate. After being processed in this manner, the calculation may be edited and the needed corrections may be entered by the experts.

 Centralization of the activities related to the calculation of the damage. As the damages from all over the country arrive within real time, the implementation of centralization of the activity related to the calculation of damage is possible. After being calculated in the head office, the ready-made estimates are immediately submitted at the disposal of the agency where the claim was registered.

 Unification of the expert information about the preparation of the estimate. The direct connection with MultiCat and MultiPrice Systems allows for the use of unified sources of expert information with regard to the prices of spare parts and materials and norm-times for disassembly and assembly, repair works and painting. In this manner the experts have a possibility to make more precise estimates.

 Unification of the data from all over the country. The data about the damage registered, the inventories and the calculations as well as the photographic material are entered into a central server. This allows for their prompt processing and analysis.

 Operational monitoring over the work with the garages and body-workshops. The data about the contracts with the garages as well as the data about the repairs performed in the workshops are entered and monitored in SmartClaiMS. In this manner the observation of the conditions agreed during the performance of the repairs may be monitored. Further to that the system allows for the comparison of the conditions of the various contracts and the selection of the appropriate workshop for a specific repair. Tenders may also be organized between the garages for the undertaking of specific repairs. The tenders will be implemented through the dissemination of information about forthcoming repairs to selected garages, processing of the bids collected from the garages, analysis of the results and selection of the best offer.

 Operational monitoring and reporting of the activity of the employees. The activities of the employees relating to the registration of damage, conduct of inspections and preparation of calculations may be registered and reported through SmartCaliMS. The loading of the employees may also be thus balanced, the loading being uniformly distributed.

 Through the introduction of SmartClaiMS, improvement of the managerial and control activities of the Company may be attained through the analysis of the damageability (in absolute and relative values per number of damage and sums) in conformity with the following key directions as well as in various combinations amongst them:

 Per makes, models and years of production of the motorcar vehicles;
 Per groups of parts;
 Per garages;
 Per clients (corporate and private);
 Per regions;
 Per agencies;
 Per experts;
 Per kinds of insurance policies;
 Per kinds of insurance events;
 Per kinds of documents for certification of the event;
 Per dates (seasons) of occurrence of the event;
 Per kinds of damage;
 Per size of damages (they may be grouped both per number of items as per sums);
 Per kinds of indemnifications (expert appraisal, service, invoices);
 Per status of damage;

 control and administration of the general data needed for the normal functioning of the system.
 Users and user rights Entry and editing of identification information, description of the position and the role of the users as well as of their rights of access to the various modules and data of the system.
 Agencies of the insurance company Entry and editing of data about the agencies.
 Positions and roles Description of the various kinds of positions and roles of the users of the system.
 Spare parts. ÂEntry and editing of lists with spare parts, which are entered as a local database in the PDA devices. These are the spare parts, which are most frequently included in the damage inventories.
